Top 5 things to do in Korea

Korea is a country of contrasts, where a turbulent history and a forward-thinking future coexist. Book your flights to Korea and you will be challenged with so many things to see and do. Here’s my top five:

Gyeongbokgung Palace

If you only have time for one palace visit make sure Gyeongbokgung Palace is at the top of your

list! It was built in 1395 and is a stunning example of traditional Korean palatial architecture.

National Folk Museum of Korea
The museum is located inside Gyeongbokgung Palace and showcases an excellent collection of Korean folk artifacts dating from pre-historic times to the present.

Namsangol Hanok Village
Namsangol Hanok Village is a restored Korean village with a collection of five hanoks (traditional Korean houses) from the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), recovered from different parts of the city and relocated to the northern foot of Namsan mountain.

Seoul Tower

Since Seoul Tower opened its doors to the public in 1980 it has become a beloved Seoul landmark offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

Hangang River Ferry Cruise

Hangang River Ferry Cruise is one of the best ways to explore the scenery around the Hangang River that flows through the city, and can be boarded from eight different docks - There are 8 different docks including Yeouido, Jamsil, Yangwha, Ttukseom, Sangam, Seoul Forest, Jamdubong and Seonyudo.

These are only a handful of things to do in Korea. There’s only one way to discover this wonderful country first hand, book your flights to Korea with the national airline of the UAE, Etihad Airways.
